Mateel Community Center

This used to be a good venue. now it is a who you know or who you sleep with venue. There have been a few events that have featured boardmembers partners who do not have the talent of others in this community. With so many talented people here why are they not in some of these shows yet not quite talented ones are? I was having dinner the other night. ( last weekend) and was told by a not so good actress she was gong to be the star of a play that she hepled write. Now people shes not a writer her an friend is an accomplished one. he is also a board eber. This woan was ok but not great when she acted in march at the mateel. There are so many good real good actresses here it's a shame to waste the talent. I have not reuped my ebership due to this and several ore incedents just like this. It is a shame. the mateel goes back and forth with this. some years nothing like this goes on other years like this one it does. fickle! I would not be talking about this had this woaan done anything at the mateel besides manning a ticket booth at events. Since her new partner became a board eber she is showcased. This is not counity it is a chosen few! Jaima
